1960 Olds loss of power in corner only
Hi, I have a weird problem with my 1960 Oldsmobile. I have a 394 with a quadrajet carb.
My issue is when I turn to the right the car allmost conks out, there is no power. If I move slowly or start from a stop position there is no issue around a corner, its mostly when I have some body roll at a slight speed.
I thought it might be a carbi issue, so I rebuild the carbi, but the issue remains.
Im now thinking maybe the issue is in the transmission, but even that doesnt make sence.
I cant quite tell where it is coming from as it only happens in the corner, as soon as i straighted up I have full power.
I do not hear the engine rev when it happens so I dont think its dropping out of gear.
Im sure we have all run out of fuel at some point, it feels a little like the hick up before to car runs out of fuel, but I have a full tank, new rubber hoses from tank, new fuel pump and new filter.
Any thoughts would be a help.
