Specifics of W-31 JO transmssion

What was different about the JO transmissions used in the 1970 W-31?

Governor is unique. P/N 1377893 vs 6261706 on lesser TH350s.
Valve body is unique. P/N 6260178 vs 6260306 for lesser TH350s.

I’m not a mechanic, so the governor raises the shift points and the valve body provides firmer shifts?
