'76 Ninety Eight Regency just joined!

Hello Good Olds Guys (and Gals)!

You may have already seen me posting but I wanted to post on the "newbie" forum as well. My name is John and I have 2 76 Regency Coupes. One is a triple black frame-off that I'm finally nearing completion on and the other is burgundy with a white interior and vinyl top and it's a really nice driver. We take the burgundy coupe on vacation and even took it from Connecticut to North Carolina and back last year without a hiccup. What a great trip that was! I've had that one for over 12 years and the black car since my dad bought it when I was 3 years old. That was thirty years ago now so I obviously have quite the attachment to that car! I was so happy to find this forum and I have already made many great connections.

You can go as far asyou'd like with me in my Merry Oldsmobile!

John

Hi Jensen,

did you mean 76? I think I saw a post of yours where you were selling some parts. Do you have anything for 75-76 full size?

yes i meant to say 76. i have the nose emblem that is NOS, i just posted it on eBay yesterday. not all 76 98s had this nose emblem. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AMESELX%3AIT
i have a NOS trash container for the passenger kick panel, turn signal switch for inside the column, defrost blower switch, cruse control switch, front speakers. all NOS. i will have to look, i think i have some more. i just sold most all of my 76 98 parts that i had.

You may actually want to update your ebay listing. For the most part, that nose emblem was on the Custom Cruiser but would also fit Eighty Eights. That might widen your buyer market.

As for the parts you mentioned, let me know how much you would want for each and if anything else turns up. I may be interested in the cruise switch and possibly the speakers. Is the turn signal switch for tilt or tilt/telescope?

thanks!
John

Welcome! Do post pics! Those big 98's are nice - towards the end of REAL luxury...
I prefer acres of soft velour vs all the gadget crap.
