Are sedan & coupe rear fenders the same?
Hi there,
Well it looks like I can get a 59 sedan rear fender cut for my coupe.
How far foreword can I go before there is a difference in shape between the two?
Will a sedan cut from the rear window pillar be the same as a coupe?
Reason I ask is it’s becoming difficult to find anyone here interested in doing this as panel beating work everyone wants to do the quick in and out modern car crash fixes. They seem to want to treat this as a ‘resto’ and put it in their workshop for a few months and get to it when they feel like it.
Thanks for the help.

It looks as though a sedan quarter is the same as a coupe as far forward as the rear door opening.
Grafting the two quarters together will be difficult.
The body shops in the states do the same thing too
They will take the job in, put it in a corner, and peck at it when they don't have any insurance work.
Count yourself lucky to have found a shop willing to work on an old car.
