Antenna is Loose

Hi, I have a question about the antenna on a 1968 442 (front passenger side fender). The base under the plastic cup that screws down toward the fender is loose. I can see it from the door between the dash and the open door but I can't get my hand into tighten anything. Any advise how to tighten this antenna?

Thanks

do you mean the screw that holds the body of the antenna or the spacer that sits under the fender?

Here is an image from my car, what keeps the antenna in place is the screw-reachable with a flexible socket extension. The parts on the top of the fender hold it all tight. I'm quite sure there is no way to actually get your hands in there.
hope this helps.

I don't remember what size the screw is that I put in there, but what I found that held tight was a self tapping machine screw. It could be a No.10 machine screw.
Try this-Sharpen a long pencil, feed it through the fender opening and poke it into the hole in the tab, push it in kind of hard and turn it at the same time, this will leave a mark on the pencil to judge how big of a screw you need.
