Shoulda known better by now...
Sometimes I forget how little you can trust the box stores. I ordered a couple various items, and figured I'd go ahead and throw wipers for the Olds in the cart. I don't have the original wipers that need refills, so just something simple should suffice. I just clicked the Trico's that showed they fit the car and moved on with life.
They came in today, so I figured why not throw them on. I mean, wiper blades are fairly simple considering what all Ive done to this car since bringing it home.
Well, they dont fit. The piece where the post goes through is tok thick, preventing the post from coming out of the other side and locking in. To make matters worse, for some reason the one I took off won't lock back in now either.
So, a trip to the parts store with the old wiper in hand is going to be called for..at the very least to find something that'll work and prevent any damage.

I bought a set of the trico33-162 replacement blades with the “Vintage Silver” metal arms. They were nice and shiny but did not match the original finish perfectly.

Now, off to figure out why the castle nut is backing off the lower balljoint.
